General Conference Information

The AAPM 34th Annual Meeting & Preconferences will feature more than 30 hours of accredited CME pain medicine education and is the must-attend meeting of the year for all clinicians treating patients in pain. When planning your 2018 AAPM Annual Meeting experience, be sure to book your travel in time to participate in preconference sessions beginning on Wednesday morning, April 25. Plus, don’t miss out on new special topic tracks happening on Sunday morning, April 29, until 12:45 pm.

Meeting Location

AAPM 34th Annual Meeting events will take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre, situated on the downtown Vancouver waterfront within walking distance of some of the city’s top attractions. AAPM has secured a limited number of sleeping rooms at the Pan Pacific Vancouver, which is connected to the convention center. To obtain the special rate of $269 CAD/night single/double occupancy, be sure to book early. This discounted rate expires March 23, 2018, or when AAPM’s room block has been filled; after that time, availability will be limited and higher rates may apply.


All AAPM Annual Meeting & Preconference faculty and planners are required to disclose to program participants any relevant relationships, including financial interests or affiliations with a commercial company. Full disclosures will be made available to program participants by verbal or written statements prior to the activity. View all faculty and planner disclosures.

Registration Rates & Deadlines

Secure the lowest rates when you register by the February 28, 2018 early-bird registration deadline. Advance registration is available until April 20, 2018. After the advance registration deadline, only in-person, on-site registration is available and rates increase. AAPM nonmembers, April 20 is also your last chance to capitalize and join-and-register pricing.


AAPM members receive reduced-price registration rates. Not a member? Join today to take advantage of special join-and-register rates and become part of the premier association for pain.* The deadline to secure reduced join-and-register pricing is April 20, 2018. You can join and register online, with AAPM Member Services at 847-375-4731, or by completing the registration form and application and mailing to the address indicated.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing. A $100 processing fee applies to all cancellations. All refunds will be processed after the Annual Meeting. Refunds will not be made on cancellations postmarked after March 26, 2018.
