Dr. Jennifer Hah is an anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist. She is currently an Instructor in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative, and Pain Medicine at Stanford University. After completion of her anesthesiology residency and pain medicine fellowship, she simultaneously completed a postdoctoral research fellowship and obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Epidemiology. Her research interests span the intersection of mood, pain, and medication use. Specifically, she is interested in researching novel interventions to reduce persistent postsurgical opioid use and minimize the risks of opioid misuse after surgery. Her NIH-funded research explores the connection between depression and opioid use after surgery and novel psychotherapeutic interventions to help taper opioids after surgery.
