Heather Poupore-King is a pain psychologist whose clinical work focuses primarily on evaluation and treatment of adults suffering from chronic pain conditions. She currently serves as the Pain Psychology Fellowship Director through the Stanford Pain Division, one of the few academic pain psychology fellowships in the United States. She specializes in the development of interdisciplinary treatments and cognitive and acceptance based behavioral therapies including biofeedback. She also serves as the master CBT trainer for multiple NIH grants and serves as the Director of Behavioral services for the PCORI-funded Stanford EMPOWER study.
