Meredith J. Barad, MDStanford Hospital and Clinics

Dr. Meredith Barad grew up in Denver, CO. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin summa cum laude in 1998 and graduated from Stanford University Medical School in 2003. She completed her internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center in San Jose, CA, and then went on to a neurology residency at Stanford University. After residency, Dr. Barad was the first neurologist to be admitted to the pain fellowship at Stanford. She is board certified in headache and pain. Currently, Meredith is a clinical associate professor of anesthesia, (pain management) and neurology and neurological sciences. She is also the co-director of the Facial Pain Program at Stanford, and the associate division chief of pain education and associate program director of the pain fellowship. At the AAPM. She is the current chair of the Headache and Orofacial Pain Medicine SIG and invites all members interested in these issues to join the SIG!
