Nathaniel Marc Schuster, MD UC San Diego Center for Pain Medicine

Dr. Schuster is assistant professor of anesthesiology and associate clinic director at the Center for Pain Medicine at UC San Diego, where he practices pain medicine with a special interest in headache. He is board-certified in neurology, pain medicine, and headache medicine. He graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, and completed neurology residency at Ronald Reagan-UCLA Medical Center, headache and facial pain fellowship at Montefiore Headache Center in the Bronx, NY, and pain medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is section co-editor of the Teaching Images section in the journal Pain Medicine and serves as a member of the American Academy of Neurology/American Headache Society Headache Measure Development Work Group, member of the AAPM Migraine Guidelines Consensus Panel, member of the North American Neuromodulation Society Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Consensus Panel, and member of the research division of the Spine Intervention Society.
