Alexandra V. Kane, BSDefense and Veterans Center For Integrative Pain Medicine

Alexandra Kane is a Research Assistant at the Defense & Veterans Center for Integrative Pain Management (DVCIPM). She implements prospective observational research studies and clinical trials at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (Bethesda, MD). As a Department of Defense Center of Excellence, the DVCIPM team focuses on optimizing delivery of acute and chronic pain management across the clinical continuum for service personnel and their families; from point of injury to recovery; improving readiness of the force while also improving efficiency of care delivery.
Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with honors from Loyola University of Maryland and volunteers as an EMT in her community.
