Throughout the meeting, leaders in the field will present on the critical role pain psychology plays in successfully treating pain patients.

New for 2019, special topic tracks will help you navigate the more than 50 sessions taking place over the course of 5 days and select sessions that are most relevant to your practice.

Behavioral Medicine/Pain Psychology Track sessions will cover:

  • An overview of evidence-based pain psychology treatments
  • Social applications of pain psychology, such as brief interventions and group based treatments
  • The benefits pain psychologists can offer physicians and patients
  • Why, when, and where to start a pain psychology group

Review track sessions.

A Pain Psychology Shared Interest Group meeting will also take place during the meeting. All AAPM35 meeting registrants are welcome to participate for an opportunity to network with colleagues.
