Joshua Prager, MD MS DABPM Center for the Rehabilitation of Pain Syndromes(CRPS) at UCLA Medical Plaza

Dr. Prager, a Harvard- and Stanford-trained physician, holds four board certifications including the American Board of Pain Medicine. He specializes in complex regional pain syndrome (chaired the IASP group on CRPS). He also specializes in neuromodulation (two-term president of the North American Neuromodulation Society). He also focuses on precision spinal diagnostics and therapeutics, as well as economic issues in pain medicine and advocacy for access to care. During his career, he has trained more than 80 pain fellows. Dr. Prager demonstrated the effectiveness of transverse tripolar spinal cord stimulation and is the first physician in the medical literature to report the effectiveness of Botulinum toxin in prolonging sympathetic blockade.
