Advance your clinical skills and meet experts one-on-one during the AAPM 2020 Advanced Ultrasound-Guided Pain Medicine Interventions preconference course on Thursday, February 27.

Back by popular demand, this full-day course will provide an overview of the advantages and limitations of ultrasound guidance in the practice of pain medicine designed to benefit pain physicians and trainees.

Pain medicine ultrasonography is relatively new, but rapidly evolving field with multiple applications for acute and persistent pain. Ultrasound guidance offers potential benefits of efficiency, accuracy, portability, decreased chance of vascular puncture and intravascular injections, absence of radiation exposure, potentially lower cost, and others.
