Ming-Chih Kao, MD PhD Stanford Pain Management Center

Dr. Kao is the clinic chief at Stanford Pain Management. A computational biologist and pain physician by training, he studied molecular biology and psychology at UC Berkeley. At Harvard University, he earned his PhD in biostatistics, developing methods for rigorous understanding of heritable diseases and genomic sequences. He then pursued medical training at University of Michigan, Yale, and Stanford.
